James Smith Burnett was born in or about 1903. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Royal Army Medical Corps in the eastern theatre in World War 2 and died at Kranji, Malaysia (formerly the Federated Malay Straits Settlements) on 24 March 1943, and commemorated at Changi.
