James Baker was the son of Richard and Mary (nee Smith) Baker (FAR00060). He was baptised at Leominster on 26 December 1708.

1728

James Baker was an apothecary.

1736

James Baker married Martha Adams, daughter of Joseph Adams of Burslem, Staffordshire, on 14 October 1736 at Stanton Lacy, Shropshire.

1744

James died in 1744 and his will was proved in October 1744.

Martha Baker later married Edward Adams, son of Edward Adams of Bagnall (Staffs) and had further issue.
