Prudence Baker is the daughter of
Francis and Susan Baker (BAK00320).
She was born on 11 February 1932 at Hasfield.

She married Sir Anthony Houlton Salt, Sixth Baronet of Saltaire (15
September 1931 to 1991), on 29 June 1957 in Cheltenham.
They had four daughters, Fenella Mary Houlton Salt (1959), Rebecca
Madeleine Harris Salt (1961), Lucinda Mary Harriet (nee Salt) Feast (8
September 1964 to 11 November 2020), Charlotte Lavinia Francis Salt (1967).
1991
Sir Anthony Salt died in 1991 at the age of 60.
Lady Prudence Salt as the widow of Sir Anthony Salt, 6th Baronet
of Saltaire, was a contributor to the historical Lady Prudence Salt Collection
housed within the digital Saltaire Collection.
She was registered as a thoroughbred horse owner in British racing
fixtures, such as with horses like Faith Again.
The artifacts and records tied to her family are referenced and
preserved in local West Yorkshire heritage groups like the Saltaire
Collection.
