John Burgess Bellyse, the son of Frederick and
Anna Bellyse (BEL00005),
was born in or about 1856. His death record suggests his mother was Marianne,
but it must have been Anne, though given her early death, he may have
remembered Marianne as his mother.
1876
John Burgess Bellyse, born in Audlem,. Registered at Glasgow as an apprentice indentured
into the Royal Navy on 13 September 1876 (Apprentices
indentured into the Merchant Navy).

1896
John Burgess Bellyse married Mary Brunton in Sydney
in 1895 (Australia Marriage Index).
1942
John Burgess Bellyse died on 25 June 1942 in
Sydney, Australia. Bellyse, June 25, at Quandialla,
John B Bellyse, loving father of Edith, Lilian, Frederick (deceased), Eileen
and Marjorie, aged 86 years. Interred Catholic Cemetery (Sydney Morning Herald, 2 July 1942).
