Charity Dod was the daughter of George and Charity Dod (DOD00101) and was born in 1692.

 

1752

 

Charity, died unmarried 1752 aged 60 (sic) (Burke, John and Burke, Sir Bernard (1836)(Eighteenth Edition, 1972), Bellyse Baker of Highfields in Burke’s Landed Gentry, Volume 3, pages 35 to 38).

 

William Baker recorded in his account books on 5 June 1752: Died at Raby Castle Aunt Charity Dod aged 69, she left Chatty (his daughter, BAK00081) £9 and some jewels.

 

(There was a Charity Dod buried at Audlem on 11 March 1736 (Audlem Parish Records)).
