1601

Susan Farndaile, daughter of George and Margery Farndaile (FAR00067) was probably born in Skelton in about 1601 (Father’s will at FAR00067). We know that Susan’s elder brother William was born in 1599, so Susan was probably born in or about 1601.

1607

Susan’s father, George
Farndaile was buried on 9 March 1607 at Skelton (Skelton Parish Records). He was probably only about 42. Susan may have been only about six. They may have been living at
Moorsholm by then.

1609

Susan’s father’s will: ‘The Dean of Cleveland grants guardianship of William Farndaile, Susan, George and Richard Farndaile, children of George Farndale, deceased, together with administration of their affairs, goods, rights and portions to Margery Farndale by choice of the said children.’ (York Wills).

1660

If Susan lived to about the age of sixty, she might have lived to about 1660.
