1818

John Farndale, was born in Whitby (the census suggests Goathland) in 1818. It seems most likely that he was the son of John and Dinah Farndale (FAR00198).

1848

There was an Elizabeth Frankland who married at Whitby at the end of 1848 (GRO Vol 24 page 681). The census records suggest this was to John Farndale. There was an Elizabeth Hind who married John Frankland, a jet manufacturer, at Whitby on 15 October 1836, so this was probably her second marriage.
