Sarah Farndel (Farndale), daughter of William & Margaret Farndell (FAR00220A) of Bishop Wilton, labourer, was baptised at Bishop Wilton on 23 June 1829 (Bishop Wilton PR).

Sarah Farndale, 21, a servant at Kirby Underdale (just north of Bishop Wilton), and daughter of William Farndale, a labourer, married John Simpson, 28, a bachelor and farm servant, son of George Simpson, a labourer. They married on 5 February 1851 at Kirby Underdale (MR).
