Margaret Farndale, wife, married, aged 49; born in Heyington
in or about 1802.
Jane Farndale, daughter, unmarried, aged 18, a dressmaker, born
in Norton in 1833.

Jane
Farndale, a dressmaker, aged 20, daughter of Wilson Farndale, a labourer
residing at Lythe, married John Hunter,
a gardener aged 22, son of James Hunter, a farmer also residing at Lythe.
The marriage was on 13 August 1853 at the Parish Church at Lythe (Lythe
PR).

daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Hunter and a 3 month old daughter, Jane Hunter (1891
Census – Alnwick). All the children except Jane
had been born in Whitby.

published an In Memoriam in the Whitby Gazette, 10 January 1902 for her
late mother:

dear mother, Margaret Farndale, widow of Wilson Farndale, who died at Lythe,
January 2nd, 1882.
