James Farndale, son of William Farndale, agricultural labourer of Barton-le-Street, Hovingham, Malton and Elizabeth Farndale formerly Langdale (FAR00286) was born at Barton-le-Street and baptised on 19 October 1851 (BC). James Farndale’s birth was registered at Malton District in the third quarter of 1851 (GRO Vol 24 page 530).
