Joseph Farndale, married Margaret Rose (“Rose”) Lakin
in 1931 and their marriage was registered in the first quarter of 1931 in
Hammersmith, London (GRO Vol 1a page 479). Rose Lakin was the daughter of Sidney and
Margaret (nee Mahony) Lakin and was brought up in Fulham and Hammersmith
where she was born on 4 July 1914.
