Rosalie H Farndale, married Arthur Carder. There
is a registered marriage of Rosalie H Farndale to Arthur Carder, registered in
the first quarter of 1964 at Poole District. She would have been 56 in 1964 this
doesn’t reconcile with the 1939 record. Perhaps the marriage was registered
retrospectively.
(There is a
Rosalie Farndale who married Thomas Y Gill at Rochford, Essex in the second
quarter of 1922, but this can’t be her as she would have been only 14).
Arthur Carder,
the son of James Charles Carder (1865 to 1917) and Jane (nee Warren)
Carder (1872 to 1957) was born on 27 July 1896 and brought up in
Standford-Le-Hope in Essex. He had served as an airman, aged 18, in the First
World War. He had previously married Edith M Johnston.
