Mary Baker married John Beaumont Piercy (c 1834-1900), known as Beaumont, an architect and later secretary of the Staffordshire Waterworks Co, eldest son of Rev. John Piercy, rector of Rushock, Worcestershire, on 22 April 1863 at Audlem (Audlem Parish Records).

 

 

Piercy-Baker. On the 22nd inst at the Parish Church, Audlem, Cheshire, by the Rev Holland Sandford, Vicar of Eaton-under-Haywood, assisted by the Rev J M Gillington, Curate of Audlem, John Beaumont Piercy Esq, eldest son of the Rev John Piercy, Rector of Rushock, Worcestershire, to Mary, third daughter of W Baker Esq, Highfields, Cheshire (Birmingham Gazette, 27 April 1863).

 

April 22, at the parish church, Audlem, Cheshire, by the Rev Holland Sandford, vicar of Eaton under Heywood, assisted by the Rev J M Gillington, curate of Audlem, John Beaumont Piercy Esquire, of Northwood cottage, Hanley, eldest son of the rev John Piercy, rector of Rushock, in this county, to Mary, third daughter of William Baker esquire, Highfields hall, Cheshire.
