William Dod was the son of William
and Eleanor Dod of Highfields (DOD00081) and was born in or about 1604.
1629
William married Magdalen Shepherd
of Walsall, Staffordshire in 1629. They had a son and daughter.
William, of Buerton (jure matris), married firstly, 1629, Magdalen Shepherd, of Walsal, Staffordshire, and had issue. He married secondly,
18 April 1639, Anne, daughter and heiress of Ralph Lathom, of Nantwich and dvm, having by her had issue (Burke, John and Burke, Sir Bernard (1836)(Eighteenth Edition, 1972), Bellyse Baker of
Highfields in Burke’s Landed Gentry, Volume 3, pages
35 to 38).

William married Anne, daughter of Ralph Latham of
Nantwich on 18 April 1639. They had a son and four daughters.
