Donald Farndale, son of William and Marty (nee Coverdale) Farndale (FAR00665), was born in Thirsk District in 1937 and his birth was registered in Thirsk District in the first quarter of 1937 (GRO Vol 9d page 632).

The Yorkshire Post and Leeds Intelligencer, 30 October 1954 reported Donald Farndale’s success at the Dairy Show in London, representing the North Riding County Federation of Young Farmers.
