If Richard was 25
and Martha was 20 at their wedding then Richard may have been born in about
1650 and she about 1655. It is likely that he was the son of Rychards ffarnedayle and Emme
Nellis (FAR00075). He
may have moved from Liverton to nearby Brotton.
1675
Richard
ffarndaill, married Martha Sawer at Brotton
on 4 October 1675 (Brotton PR). This is the
first mention of Brotton in association with the Farndale family.
1676
Isabel ffarndaill (FAR00112),
daughter of Richard ffarndaill was baptised at Brotton on 13 August 1676 (Brotton PR).
1697
Martha Farndale, wife of Richard ffarndaill was
buried at Brotton on 11 December 1697, perhaps aged about 42 (Brotton PR).
1727
Richard Farndale, buried Brotton on 20 March 1727 (Brotton PR). He would be aged 77 years old,
depending on his exact year of birth.
