Mary Ann Farndale, daughter of John and Ann (nee Nicholson) Farndale (FAR00210) of Newholm, farmer, was born on 20 July 1816 and baptised at Whitby on 25 July 1816 (Whitby PR).

1842

 

Mary Ann Farndale was presumably the mother out of marriage of John Farndale (FAR00355), the daughter of Mary Ann, a spinster of Red Briar, who died of convulsions aged 3 days. He was born on 25 October 1842 to Mary Ann Farndale (Danby PR). He was buried at St Hilda, Danby on 2 November 1842.

1843

 

Mary Ann Farndale married William Pringles at Danby in Cleveland on 8 July 1843 (Danby PR). She was the daughter of John Farndale, a labourer. She lived at Dale End at the time of the marriage, and he lived at Park House. William Pringles was a husbandsman. Mary solemnised the marriage with her mark. Banns of marriage had been issued on 18 and 25 June and 2 July 1843.
