John Farndale,
son of Samuel and Elizabeth Farndale (FAR00149) of Kilton, was baptised at Brotton on 4 May 1788 (Brotton PR).
When John
Farndale was born in 1788 in Brotton, Yorkshire, his father, Samuel, was 53 and
his mother, Elizabeth nee Hutton, was 38.
1813
John Farndale bachelor and Ann Nicholson spinster, both of
this Parish (Danby), married by banns at Danby Parish
Church on 12 December 1813 (Danby PR). The witnesses were William
Nicholson and George Baylieff. John was aged 25 at
his marriage. The ceremony was performed by D Duck.
They had five children in ten years.

PR). John Senior was a farmer at Brachon Riggs by 1818.
