Anne Farndale,
daughter of Elias and Mary (probably an error and should be Jane) (nee
Foster) Farndale (FAR00224)
of Oswaldkirk, of Ampleforth,
labourer, was baptised by Thomas Comber on 16 March 1820, so she must have been
born say February 1820 (Oswaldkirk PR).
Ann, daughter of
William and Margaret Farnell (sic, sic) of Bishop Wilton, labourer, was
baptised at Bishop Wilton on 4 July 1820 (Bishop
Wilton PR). This is probably unrelated to the family.

Richard
Clarkson Farndale (FAR00342) was born in 1839 (Bishop Wilton PR),
born to Ann Farndale (FAR00270), at the age of nineteen when she was still single. He was
baptised in January 1839.

Ann’s son Richard then lived with his grandparents.
