Mary Jane Farndale, daughter of Elias (a labourer) and Mary Ann (nee Carling) Farndale (FAR00274), was born in 1849 at Sutton on Hull and baptised on 23 September 1849 (Sutton on Hull PR).

Poor Mary Ann Farndale died the same year, in 1881 at Sculcoates (GRO Vol 9d page 141). She was only 32, although her workhouse record suggested she was a little older.
