Matilda Chapman Farndale may have been a daughter of William Farndale FAR00260, but difficult to reconcile. If so then she is part of the Kilton 1 Line. Her mother’s maiden name was Chapman. She was born in Bridlington District in 1858 (BR). Matilda Chapman Farndale’s birth was registered in Bridlington District in the third quarter of 1858 (GRO Vol 9d page 246).

 

Was she a sister of Mary Farndale (FAR00349) born Scarborough in 1840, whose mother was also nee Chapman?

Matilda Farndale, 21 married Richard Kitchen, 22, at Filey on 29 December 1879. Her father was William Farndale (Farndall), a platelayer.
