Evening Post, 14 May 1892 and the Liverpool Mercury, 16 May 1892:
reported that William Henry Farndale, living at Queensbury house, Manor Road,
Churchtown, Southport, was charged with committing an assault to which he had
pleaded guilty, though the magistrate could not help regarding it of an
aggravated nature, and he was committed for two months, with hard labour.
