Mary Farndale, daughter of William and Mary (nee Jackson) Farndale (FAR00309), was born on 23 August 1878 (1939 Register, though must be out by a year in the Register) and baptised at Great Ayton on 2 September 1878 (Great Ayton PR). Mary Farndale’s birth was registered in Stokesley District in the third quarter of 1878 (GRO Vol 9d page 643).
