The birth was registered by T W Farndale, father, of Stockton on 13 February 1886 (GRO

Daily Telegraph, 12 August 1920: MOTOR BUSES OVER NEW ROUTES AT WATH. At a meeting
of the Wath Urban Council it was decided that motor buses plying for hire over
new routes in the urban district should, in the case of vehicles licenced to
carry ten persons, pay an initial fee of 10s 6d and a penny per car mile, and
in the case of vehicles of larger capacity a fee of £1 1s and 2d per car mile.
The fees for the public baths were raised to a flat rate of 6d for adults and
3d for children, and for slipper baths to 9d per person. Mr T E Farndale of
Stratford upon Avon was appointed clerk of works for the housing scheme at a
salary of £6 10s per week.
