Doris S Farndale, married Ronald Simpson and their
marriage was registered in the fourth quarter of 1940 at Whitby District (GRO
Vol 9d page 1265). Since he was shown as assisting father in law in the 1939 Register, they seem to have married in 1939
and, perhaps due to the War, delayed registration of the marriage.
Ronald Simpson,
the son of Edmund Simpton (1885 to 1964) and Annie (nee Smith) Simpson (1879 to
1965). Was bhorn on 7 November 1917 and brought up in
Brotton.
2001
Doris Sushannah Simpson, born 20 January 1913, died on 27
February 2001, aged 88, and was buried at St Thomas Churchyard, Glaisdale, near
Scarborough (Monumental Record). Her death
was registered in North Yorkshire in the first quarter of 2001 (GRO District 6501G Register Number G3 entry 65).
2006
Ronald Simpson
died on 21 July 2006, aged 89, and was buried at St Thomas Churchyard,
Glaisdale, near Scarborough (Monumental Record).
