Etheldreda M Norman married Ronald Holman on 12 January 1944 in Kensington (GRO Vol 1a Page 174).

The marriage arranged between Major W R Holman, MC, RHA, son of Major and Mrs W F Holman, of Prestbury, to Etheldreda Norman, of Croydon,. She travelled to India on 17 April 1946, the ‘wife of an army officer’ leaving Liverpool on the Mauretania. She left Bombay on the Lancashire of the Bibby Line, to travel via Aden and Port Said to Liverpool, arriving there on 15 March 1947. She travelled with her daughter, Juliet.

1955

 

She travelled to Hong Kong on the Empire Fowey leaving Southampton on 4 March 1955.
