registered in the first quarter of 1840 (GRO XXIV page 419). Her mother’s maiden name Chapman. Could she be related to Hilda
Chapman Farndale of Bridlington (FAR00434)?
Mary Farndale
was baptised at Folkton on 1 February 1840, son of
William and Margaret Farndale. Folkton is south of
Scarborough near Filey.

Mary Farndale married James
Wilson, Bachelor at Settringham in 1891, banns on 22 February, 1 March and 8
March 1891. Settringham is about 20km west of Filey
near Malton.
But this may be another
Mary. I could not find her in census records, so she may have died young.
