Thomas Farndale, son of William and Mary (nee Leppington) Farndale (FAR00281), was born in Pocklington District at Bishop Wilton (see census records) in 1852. Thomas Farndale’s birth was registered at Pocklington District in the second quarter of 1852. Mother’s maiden name Leppington (GRO Vol 9d, page 60).

Thomas Farndale married Mary Hannah Weighill at Tadcaster in the first quarter of 1880.

 

1884

 

Ethel Farndale (FAR00590) was born at Manston or Barwick in 1884.

 

1887

 

George Weighill Farndale( FAR00617) was born at Manston or Barwick in 1887. He was later an infantryman in the first world war who was killed in action at Arras during the Third Battle of the Scarpe in 1917.
