Edith Annie Farndale was
born in Scarborough District in 1883
and her birth was registered in Scarborough
District in the third quarter of 1883 (GRO Vol 9d page 363). I have not
identified her parents, but she was probably related to Frank Farndale (FAR00622) and Albert Goodwill
Farndale (FAR00623).
She is therefore most likely part of the Ampleforth 1 lineage – the Scarborough
links relate mostly to this lineage. Ann Farndale (FAR00404) married George Goodwill
which may be a clue. I am provisionally placing them unlinked at this part of
the family.
