William Farndale was a farmer at Gillingwood
Hall, Gilling, Richmond. Gillingwood Hall is Grade 2 listed with mysterious follies, once
part of the 18th century Hall which burnt down in 1750. |

Beatrice Farndale, daughter of William and Ada
Farndale, was born in Gilling West, Richmond. Beatrice died in 1971 in the
Richmond area, probably Gilling. |

Charles Farndale, son of William and Ada Farndale,

Farndale, was born in Richmond. She died on 25 August 1910 and is buried at
