The Ancestry of the Uxbridge Line
The Uxbridge Line can trace back
from Tom Farndale to the Ampleforth 1 Line as follows:
Tom Farndale (FAR00786), 1912 - 1975
Tom Farndale (FAR00536), 1875 - 1955
William Farndale (FAR00377), 1849 – 1927
William Farndale (FAR00286), 1824 – 1910
Jethro Farndale (FAR00218), 1790 – 1882
Elias Farndale (FAR00184), 1755 - 1831
Elias Farndale (FAR00147), 1733 - 1783
At the present time I have been
unable to trace this line back to older lines of Farndales. With more research
I may yet find the link to the direct Farndale history back to 1512. It seems
likely that Elias will be linked to Farndales in other lines, and I am sure
that all those using the Farndale name, are linked to the early family lines,
such as the Kirkleatham Skelton Line, the Liverton 2 Line, the early part of the Kilton 1 Line, and the Kilton 2 Line. I am also sure that all
Farndales will share in the medieval ancestry which is described in Volume
1 of the Farndale Directory.
