Richard Farndale, son of Joseph and Mary Farndale (FAR00228) of Nunthorpe, cartwright, was baptised at Great Ayton on 31 July 1825 (Great Ayton PR).

Census 1841 – Township of Little Busby (Stokesley) They may have meant Easby?

Richard Farndale, age 18; servant to William Coates a farmer; born in Yorks; (1823).

1850

Richard Farndale of full age, bachelor, labourer of Ayton, son of Joseph Farndale, cartwright, married Esther Thwaites of full age, spinster of Stokesley, daughter of George Thwaites, labourer at the Parish church Stokesley, on 19 May 1850 (Marriage Certificate). Jane Farndale was a witness (FAR00332, sister). Richard Farndale made his mark, Jane signed. The witnesses were William Shaw and Jane Farndale. William Wray was the Vicar.
