The Northern Whig,
1 June 1940 and Londonderry Sentinel, 1 June
1940 reported that Edward Farndale, then 25, was a musician, temporarily resident in Ferryquay
Street, Coleraine. On the termination of a musical engagement in Belfast, he
had come to Coleraine. He had an issue with his war time identity card.

The Liverpool
Echo 11 June 1943 and Liverpool Echo 13 July
1943 reported that then aged 28, Edward Francis Farndale was a jig and tool inspector. He got into some trouble over the loss of
some tools.
Leeds
1947
Edward F Farndale, married Avril Mary
Green in 1947 and their marriage was registered in the fourth quarter of 1947
at Leeds District (GRO Vol 2c page 904).

1954
Edward was on a passenger manifest on
a British Overseas Airways Corporation flight from London to New York on 23
November 1954.

On 13 June 1956 he travelled from New
York on the Queen Elizabeth bound for Southampton.
1960
On 24 July 1960, he travelled to
Boston and is shown on a passenger list arriving at Boston, Massachusetts, with
a US Address at 25 Brentwood Avenue, Barrington.
1962
He travelled to Boston again arriving
on 9 October 1962, with the same address.
1997
Avril Mary Farndale died on 24 January
1997 and was cremated in Cambridgeshire on 4 February 1997 (Burial and Cremation Index).
Bournemouth.
He later lived in Bournemouth.
Ipswich
2002
Edward Francis Farndale died on 21 November 2002 with probate at Ipswich Suffolk on 21 July
2004. He seems to have died in USA as US Social
Security Applications Index refers to Edward Francies Farndale, son of
Henry and Gracer (nee Bell) Farndale, born on 14 November 1914, who died on 21
November 2002. His last residence is shown as US Consulate, London.
