Robert A B Farndale, probably a son of Mary Helen Farndale (FAR00648) (MSN Farndale) was born on 24 July 1925 (1939 Register). His birth was registered in Marylebone District in the third quarter of 1925 (GRO Vol 1A Page 719).

He later lived with presumably his uncle, James (FAR00699A).

Daily Mail, 3 February 1959: BROMPTON BY SAWDON. LEGION DINNER. 52 members and friends of Brompton Branch of the British Legion held their annual dinner and social at the Keighley Arms, Brompton. Colonel Goddard introduced Mr Boyd, who spoke of the work of the Legion and was thanked by Mr C H Mudd. The company were entertained by Mr. John Pearson, Pickering, Mr M Farndale, Malton, and Mr B Jefferies.

Brompton by Sawdon is west of Scarborough.

1981

Robert Alan Farndale, born 24 Jul 1925, died at Scarborough District age 56 on 20 October 1981 (DR). He is buried at Malton cemetery.
