1604

Rychards ffarnedayle, the son of George and Margery Farndaile (FAR00067) was born in Skelton in 1604 and baptised there on 3 February 1604 (Skelton Parish Records).

1607

Richard’s father, George
Farndaile was buried on 9 March 1607 at Skelton (Skelton Parish Records). He was probably only about 42. Richard was only three. They may have been living at Moorsholm by then.

1609

Richard’s father’s will: ‘The Dean of Cleveland grants guardianship of William Farndaile, Susan, George and Richard Farndaile, children of George Farndale, deceased, together with administration of their affairs, goods, rights and portions to Margery Farndale by choice of the said children.’ (York Wills).

1632

Richard Farndale married Emmie (Elizabeth?) Nellice at Liverton on 29 July 1632 (Liverton PR). Richard was aged 28. There is a reference in indexes to Easington in Cleveland, but the same record links to ‘the chappely of Liverton’.
