Jethro Farndale, son of Elias and Dorothy Farndill (FAR00184) was baptised at Ampleforth on 16 January 1791 (Ampleforth PR).

 

1822

Jethro Farnill married Alice Clarke of Alne Parish by banns at the Parish Church of Coxwold on 29 July 1822. Signed by Jethro, she ‘marks.’ (Coxwold PR).



1824

William Farndale (FAR00286), son of Jethro and Alice Farndale, was baptised at Coxwold 27 December 1824 (Coxwold PR).

 

In December 1824 when his son William was born, Jethro was shown as a farmer of Yearsley.

 

1826

John Farndale (FAR00293), son of Jethro and Alice Farndale, was baptised at Coxwold, 17 October 1826 (Coxwold PR).

 

1827

Mary Farndale (FAR00298), daughter of Jethro and Alice Farndale, was baptised at Coxwold 17 October 1827 (Coxwold PR).

 

1829

Elias Farndale (FAR00303), son of Jethro and Alice Farndale, was baptised at Coxwold 17 April 1829 (Coxwold PR).

 

In April 1829, when his son Elias was born, Jethro was shown as a farmer of Yearsley.

 

1832

Alice Farndale (FAR00301), daughter of Jethro and Alice Farndale, aged 9 in Census 1841, therefore was born in 1832 (Coxwold PR).

 

1834

Elizabeth Farndale (FAR00327), daughter of Jethro and Alice Farndale, was baptised at Coxwold 18 March 1834 (Coxwold PR).

Alice Farndale died at Easingwold, aged 88 in March 1880, so she was born in or about 1792.

1882

 

Jethro Farndale died aged 91 at Easingwold, in the third quarter of 1882 (DR).

 

Easingwold is the larger town, southwest of Ampleforth.
