Samuel Farndale, son of William Farndale, labourer of Church Street, Whitby and Sarah Farndale (FAR00257) formerly Sanders, was born on 25 October 1844 and baptised at Whitby on 2 November 1844 (Birth Certificate). They lived at Church Street, Whitby. His father, William, was a farmer (Whitby PR & IGI). Samuel Farndale’s birth was registered at Whitby District on 30 October 1844 (GRO Vol 24 page 515)

Samuel Farndale, then living at Egton, died and was buried at St Hilda, Egton on 24 January 1847, aged 2 years.
