Samuel
Farndale, son of William Farndale, labourer of Church Street, Whitby and Sarah
Farndale (FAR00257)
formerly Sanders, was born on 25 October 1844 and baptised at Whitby on 2 November 1844 (Birth
Certificate). They lived at Church Street, Whitby. His father, William, was a
farmer (Whitby PR & IGI). Samuel
Farndale’s birth was registered at Whitby
District on 30 October 1844 (GRO

buried at St Hilda, Egton on 24 January 1847,
aged 2 years.
