Ann Farndale, daughter of William and Sarah (nee Sanders) Farndale, (FAR00257) was baptised at Egton on 5 September 1842 (Egton PR & IGI). Ann Farndale’s birth was registered at Whitby Districtin the third quarter of 1842 (GRO Vol 24 page 486).

William Husband, 24, a bachelor and mariner of Egton (son of Robert Husband, a labourer) married Ann Farndale, 21 a spinster of Whitby, daughter of William Farndale, a labourer on 14 August 1864 at the Parish Church, Whitby (MR).

 

Whitby Gazette, 20 August 1864: Same day and place, Mr William Husband, mariner, Egton, to Miss Ann Farndale.

 

1865

 

Their daughter Sarah E Farndale (she appears to have used her mother’s surname by 1971) was born in or about 1865.
