Samuel Saunders (sic) Farndale, a grandson of Samuel Sanders and Mary (nee Hogarth) Farndale (FAR00410), was born in 1911. His birth was registered in Guisborough District in 1911 (GRO Vol 9d page 965). His mother’s surname was given as Farndale, so he was probably born out of marriage to one of Samuel Farndale’s daughters. He was the son of Meggie Farndale (FAR00660), born while she was single.

Samuel S Farndale, died age 1 at Guisborough District in the first quarter of 1912.  The 4 month old Samuel Saunders (sic?) Farndale (FAR00776) buried at Liverton on 7 January 1912 (St Michael (now St Martin), Liverton PR).
