John Farndale died 3rd January 1939 aged 87. Also Susannah Farndale wife of above died 10th November 1912 aged 59 years. Also Private George Farndale killed on active service 27th May 1917 aged 26 years. Also Harry Farndale, his eldest son died 14th August 1918 aged 36 years.’ (ie Harry born, 1882).
