John Farndale was
baptised at Brotton on 5 October 1755, the
son of William and Mary Farndale (FAR00146) (Brotton PR).
John referred to as “John Farndale Junior” in Kilton Records. This may have been to
distinguish him from John Farndale (1750 to 1825)(FAR00167), who was also farming
in Kilton at the time.
1787
John Farndale, of
the Parish of Guisborough, husbandman, married Hannah Wilson of the
Parish of Guisborough,
spinster, by Banns at Guisborough Parish Church on 17 May 1787 in the presence
of Ann Young, and William Farndale (Guisborough PR).
John was 32.
1788
Hannah Farndale, the daughter of John and Hannah
Farndale, was baptised at Great Ayton,
on 9 July 1788 (FAR00211).
